I've installed TightVNC 1.3dev6 (which is RC1 for the next stable
version) and the Mirage driver on W2K SP4 server. When I try to
connect using CotVNC 2.0b2 or CVS (12/9/04), the server's
CPU utilization jumps to 100% (all from TightVNC) until I close the
connection. It seems to work fine for a second, but then the
remote cursor gets extremely slow and falls far behind the local
cursor. It will trace the path of the local cursor eventually.
I have tried turning off the Tight and ZRLE encodings, as those
seem to have caused problems in the past, but it doesn't make a
difference. I have also tried turning off CopyRect and turning off
every encoding but RAW. Sitting and not moving, with no window
updates occurring, still uses 100% of the server's CPU. VNC
Dimension 0.7.10 works fine.

This is what Xcode gives me as console output:

Thanks for your hard work (I almost feel guilty submitting a bug
report),

Found a problem with TightVNC 1.2.9 on RedHat 7.3. "tight"
    encoding with 24bpp is inverted.

I get the same behavior connecting to Tight on Windows. This seems to
be a problem with the Tight server, as Real and Ultra do not exhibit this.
    Closing.
