No

This script allows detection of single or multiple ACPI Thermal temperature(s) in F or C, Detects CPU tempaerature(s) in F or C, Detects single or multiple fan speeds, and Detects if Winebridge is running as well as obtain it's PPID. This script can handle MOST errors. Since it is coded in bash it uses minimal resources. It is recommended that you copy this script to /usr/local/bin to save room in $exec calls

Also, I can't code LUA, so that's why it's coded in bash... Sorry! Although, I have seen a great improvement by substituting the sensors that are built into conky with bash scripts. (2% less CPU usage, 1/2 as much RAM usage), however I have not added those bash scripts into this one yet.

actually, i would be more interested in why does a bash script consume less memory than a built-in variable.
Could you provide some use case where this happens (conkyrc, memory measurements, etc).
Use the version from git if possible.

    thanks :)

It appeared to use less memory as it was being executed and closed before the memory used by the bash script was shown, I've found out that the bash scripts are using more RAM because those scripts cache the output of a file or command then search the cache.

Closing. Conky currently does not ship scripts. If anybody finds the scripts useful, he can download them from here. Although I sincerely hope we don't need scripts implementing the same behavoir conky has built-in.
