Dear conky developers,
I package conky in the Arch Linux distribution; we currently use near-
vanilla 1.8.1 but I saw many interesting fixes in the 1.8.2 git branch.
In fact, I would need to cherry pick some of them (or switch to a git
snapshot altogether) for conky to compile and work on recent Arch
systems, as (for instance) we upgraded curl to 7.22.0 recently.
Before I do that, I wanted to inquire about the status of that 1.8.2
branch. Do you have plans to release it in the near future? Or are there
known bugs that prevent it from being released?

I've been trying to find some time to do this for a while now. I can't make
any promises, but perhaps this weekend I'll get around to it. If you're in
a hurry, you can make a package from the 1.8.2 branch and call it a pre-release
