Hello,

there is a pb while trying to use a BlueTooth device (I tried to different devices with LMX9820), and the Write part causes the system to crash, blue screen, restart, ...
To prevent that, put all events, except RxChar, to false. I don't really know which one is causing the pb, but not event RxChar anyway, so that communication can go on.
Somebody else told me who had the same pb told me, and it worked for both of us.

Best,
Pierre-Jean

  • Hello,

The evTxEmpty seems to be the event that is causing the BSOD. It seems to cause an access violation in the BTPort.sys. I do not know if the other events were just not called, so did not demonstrate the error, but a normal write with all the events except evTxEmpty did not cause the BSOD. With just evRxChar and evTxEmpty, the BSOD/OS reset did occur.

    HTH.

  • Also, the crashing only seems to happen on multi-core machines. I tried the same program on a single-core machine and there was no problem, but it crashed on two different milti-core machines.
