No

outcome: Speed up creating Roles. We are using roles
at a fine level of control. This requires setting up many
roles. Generally a new role only has a few access items
selected. The default in Compiere is all access items
are turned on. So the process is to use the gui to
manually turn off all the access items then turn on the
ones needed.

I would like to use sql*plus to set (turn) window,
process, form, task, and workflow role access off; but I
don't want to break Compiere. 8^(

steps:
update "COMPIERE"."@1"
set "COMPIERE"."ISACTIVE"='N',
"COMPIERE"."ISREADWRITE"='N'
where "COMPIERE"."AD_CLIENT_ID"='@2' and
"COMPIERE"."AD_ROLE_ID"='@3'

processing loop:
@1=
{'AD_WINDOW_ACCESS', 'AD_PROCESS_ACCESS',
'AD_FORM_ACCESS', 'AD_TASK_ACCESS',
'AD_WORKFLOW_ACCESS'}
@2={'1000000'} my client id
@3={'1000001', ... } list of my role ids

response:
Question: Are there any other related tables that
require updating for this to be a complete update?

Thanks,

Marty Jolly

    No, it's just the _Access tables for the details.
