I have client who would be very interested in using compiere however they are committed to the MS SQL Server database.
That being said what are the issues surrounding the amount of effort required in order for compiere to work with SQL Server.
Though I haven't used compiere from what I have read it appears as though there is a significant amount of code at the database level PL/SQL which would need to be converted. Is this the really the case? If it is does anyone know just how many lines of code or triggers, procedures etc would need to be ported.

Given that Sybase support is already as far in the way to let JJ to realese it into the last releases, I'ld be surprised if MS SQL Server (a Sybase direct derivate) would be that hard.
