I think Compiere is not as stable as expected.
I need to be very careful when I play with it.
Sometimes the operations couldn't be rolled back.
For example, when we place a sales order, and add one product into the order line and click save. Suddenly we find we've chosen the wrong product, then we wanna remove the line. But the error occurs which says "Quantity reserved"
Anybody has the same feelings?
Same thing happen to me all the time. I am not sure how to 'release' these reserve back. Anyone has any idea how to undo that?
set the quantity to 0 and prepare the doc to release the reservation and then you can delete the line.
Sometimes the quantity we shipped is different from what is ordered, then the reserve quantity may be positive or negative.
If an product is ordered only once, we can never deactive the product because of the reserved quantity.
the close the order to release any reserved for a backorder.
This should be documented in the wiki
