I mount the C: drive of my host machine inside coLinux via this
smbmount //192.168.251.1/C$ /c -o username=jbw,uid=jbw,gid=users
Always after hibernation, and at some other (unexplained) times, the
file system just stops working. All attempts to access it hang for
half a minute and then get an I/O error. I can always make it work
again by unmounting and remounting it.
I figured out that it was always hanging after hibernation by running
a cron job every 10 minutes that logs how many seconds "ls /c" takes
to run. When things are fine, it takes 0, 1, or 2 seconds, and when
things go wrong it uniformly takes 29 or 30 seconds.
Any suggestions for how to fix this or for what is to blame?
