I could put the colinux up and running but after i use colinux randomly the system crashes
even thou i have closed colinux with "shutdown -h now"
Sometimes it happens when i open a video ... or execute a game ... sometimes doing nothing at all ... the problem only happens after run colinux ...
If anyone can give any help ... or can give some direction to solve ... :)
Using coLinux 0.6.4
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="WinXP for coLinux" /noexecute=AlwaysOff /NOPAE
<block_device index="0" path="\DosDevices\d:\coLinux\debian_new" enabled="true" />
<block_device index="1" path="\DosDevices\c:\coLinux\swap_device" enabled="true" />
<initrd path="initrd.gz" />
<image path="vmlinux" />
<memory size="32" />
<network index="0" type="bridged" name="Local"/>
First: You can remove or comment out the initrd - needs only at first boot. This was sometimes a problem.
Second: Incrace the memory size to values not exactly of n^2, better: 40, 60 or 120 MB.
Last: Can be the race condition, we found on shutting down vista. Read more:
This was fixed in current snapshot for 0.7.1 http://www.colinux.org/snapshots/
