    I installed fc6 and had a few problems, mostly being the old kernel. I updated the kernel from henrynestler.com and everything seems to work fine, however I still have problems with networking.
    When it boots up it the network cards don't have ip addresses, I have set up /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts properly (I think) so I can't see why it doesn't work.
    If I then use ifconfig to set up everything it all works fine, but I don't want to have to type all that in every time to make the networking work.
    Here are my ifcfg files anyway:

    ifcfg-eth0
    # Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8029(AS)
    DEVICE=eth0
    BOOTPROTO=static
    ONBOOT=yes
    IPADDRESS=192.168.10.2
    NETMASK=255.255.255.0

    ifcfg-eth1
    # Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8029(AS)
    DEVICE=eth1
    BOOTPROTO=static
    ONBOOT=yes
    IPADDRESS=10.0.2.15
    BROADCAST=10.0.2.255
    NETMASK=255.255.255.0
    NAMESERVER=10.0.2.3
    GATEWAY=10.0.2.2

    • How about putting the ifconfig command in /etc/rc.d/rc.local ?
