i *really* think colinux needs to include a disk image editor, so that you can add files to the colinux from windows, explore2fs *does not* support writing to partitions and disk images, if you try writing to the colinux disk image, it will break

Colinux really does need one. There's an application called "Gemulator Explorer", which does support writing to Macintosh disks, partitions or disk images.
