0.5.4:

I'm using the following configuration:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<colinux>
<block_device index="0"
path="\Device\HarddiskVolume3"
enabled="true"></block_device>
<block_device index="1"
path="\Device\HarddiskVolume2"
enabled="true"></block_device>
<block_device index="2"
path="\DosDevices\c:\colinux\root_fs"
enabled="true"></block_device>
<bootparams>root=/dev/cobd0</bootparams>
<image path="vmlinux"></image>
<memory size="64"></memory>
<network index="0" type="tap" name="TAP"></network>
</colinux>

It boots correctly from linux partition, it mounts root
partition,
but when running fsck I get 'Invalid argument while
trying to open /dev/cobd0'.

I'm using debian 3.0.

    The same with gentoo. Swap partition is not usable at all.

    I also get this when trying to boot from a pre-installed
    gentoo partition. The fsck fails on /dev/codb0 during init.
    Logging in as root for administration purposes I can "mount
    -o remount /" and modify my configuration. I can also
    successfully "mount /dev/codb1 /boot" which is an ext3 fs
    system boot partition. If I fsck it (un-mounted) it also fails,
    but the error message a startup and for the mount command
    is exactly like that produced if you have the drive left open in
    windows and try to mount a VFAT partition, i.e cannot read
    superblock. Perhaps this is a problem with "re-opening" the
    same device twice", i.e the colinux-daemon or whatever has
    it open already, and needs to re-use it's already open
    connection rather than trying to open it again?

    This and later bugs regarding cobd were fixed in 0.6.1.
