A new edition of WMOGAG Coils has been uploaded to files. This edition, in addition to many other fixes and additions, provides in-depth documentation of event driven documentation features as well as CUPS integration. Using this edition you can easily:
- Automatically assign uploaded documents to collections.
- Automatically unassign modified documents from collections.
- Automatically file copies of created or modified documents.

AttachFS allows put'ing a document to a Task entity.
Where OGo#13871405 is a Task this will create/update the file named "cert.pem" in the root folder of the project this task is assigned to. It will also, automatically, generate an object link from the task to this new or updated file. curl -u adam -T cacert.pem \ "http://coils.example.com/attachfs/13871405/cacert.pem?mode=file" If the Task is not assigned to a project an exception will be raised. For storing arbitrary content on arbitrary tasks use attachment mode.... [read more](/p/coils/news/2013/02/development-update-2013-02-12/)

Ahead of preparing for the 0.1.50 release a wiki page is under development for recording clients that been testes, need to be tested, known client bugs, etc... WebDAV (and CardDAV/CalDAV clients) vary greatly in quality so real testing is always necessary. Notes regarding per-client testing will be posted to these wiki pages.
A new article on using the workflow scheduler has been published on the OpenGroupare.us BLOG.
OpenGroupware Coils 0.1.49rc4 has been uploaded to SourceForge and PyPI.
This release fixes an important bug found in 0.1.49rc3 regarding OIE Tables. If you use OIE look-up tables with 0.1.49rc3 you should update to this RC.
OpenGroupware Coils 0.1.49rc3 has been uploaded to SourceForge and PyPI.
Changes since 0.1.49rc0
After a long series of RC releases 0.1.48 is here. 0.1.48 provides a significant improvement in feature completeness and stability. The list of changes is simply to extensive to enumerate, and most are not immediately visible. Highlights are:
OpenGroupware Coils 0.1.47rc61 has been uploaded to SourceForge and to PyPI.
A new release candidate has been uploaded to SourceForge and PyPI.
Includes improvements to the Vista indexing of contacts and enterprises - most notably a fully numeric version of phone numbers is always indexed, and the phone numbers, city, postal code, and names of a contact's enterprises, and an enterprise's contacts, are also indexed in relation to the contact/enterprise.
The new coils-test-sql command line tool provides and easy way for workflow managers to test SQL connections defined via the OIESQLSources default; much like the way coils-test-dsa can be used to test OIELDAPSources.
OpenGroupware 0.1.47rc18 package has been uploaded to SourceForge and to PyPI.
There is a schema change to "lock" table required for this upgrade:
ALTER TABLE lock DROP COLUMN data; ALTER TABLE lock ADD COLUMN data BYTEA; ALTER TABLE lock ADD COLUMN operations VARCHAR(10) DEFAULT '';
The data field of the lock table is now a PickeledData type so we can store whatever the client sends as the D:owner attribute. The addition of the operations table facilitates the server supporting more sophisticated lock types beyond WebDAV's "write" lock.... read more
The project on SourceForge has been upgraded. This means that the developer repository URLs have changed! So checkout from the new repos before doing any more commits.
Address, CompanyValue, and Telephone relations are now SQLAlchemy MappedCollections; this significantly simplifies processing of the complex Contact and Enterprise entities. Omphalos, Logic, and VCard processing should now all be updated to the new form of associations. All Note relations are now also handled in the same manner and note handling has been re-implemented.
The required version of SQLAlchemy for the default branch is now 0.7.4. The heavier use of association proxies introduced in recent commits makes this necessary; they remote a fair amount of code and even eliminate some Logic commands entirely.
The default branch is now tagged as 0.1.47rc3. The release of 0.1.47 is expected this week-end.
A new release 0.1.47 will be coming soon. The biggest change in this release is the improved workflow scheduler. The APScheduler component has been upgraded to the 2.x component and now persists jobs in the backend database. The scheduler also supports using attachments for scheduled process input and generates more informative administrative notices in case of a problem. Numerous other bug fixes and better ORM performance as the code continues to exploit more of the power proved by the underlying SQLAlchemy module.
OpenGroupware Coils 0.1.46 uploaded to PyPI and SourceForge. New support for extended XSLT, smarter user-agent management, and improved document management. Several new OIE actions for integration with CIFS and FTP file services.
In the latest 0.1.45rc is the new Vista search module. Read about it at http://www.opengroupware.us This is fast full-text search of your groupware entities.
Looks like there is a compatibility issue with SQLAlchemy 0.7.4 and how OpenGroupware Coils is defining joined-table entities. So stick to 0.7.3. Investigating how to resolve the issue.
