version 1.8.5, running on redhat, using mozilla 1.8a5
on linux.

access a topic text page, and click on a line number to
get a new window gets opened for the comment entry.
put in nothing but a little text into the comment
field, fill in the level, mode, & type. leave the
email address fields empty & hit "submit". Not only
does the topic window get put on top of
the comment window (see bug 1149930), but the comment
window gets redrawn: title="Codestriker error",
content="No email address was entered". There's no
"back" button to correct the problem, so
right-click/back, and you find the comment window has
been reset to its initial state - the comment, level,
etc. are gone.

Yes, this is a useability problem. The next release of
Codestriker 1.8.6 will address this problem, as the handling
of comment windows will be done via tooltips, so burying of
windows won't occur. Also, it will ensure that the email
address field has a value via javascript when the submit
    button has been pressed.
