I decided to install an Ubuntu 16.04 alpha release onto a Samsung Portable SSD and boot off of it.
I then installed clonezilla onto the Ubuntu 16.04 SSD and ran it from there with both my original SOURCE and DESTINATION disks... and that worked okay...
I'm assuming the newer 4.x kernel in Ubuntu 16.04 perhaps helped Clonezilla with the BTRFS ?
So ignore the original post but this may help someone else that has this problem on Ubuntu with a BTRFS source disk.
thanks
Brian

I am running Ubuntu 15.10.
8core
32GB ram
I have a 2TB SATA3 drive I am trying to clone to another 2TB drive (sde)
Source drive has:
/boot on sda1 8GB EXT4
/ and /home on sda6 - BTRFS
Clonezilla does the EXT4 okay.
It then starts the sda6 and seg-faults with this message:
/usr/sbin/ocs-onthefly: line 1178: 7388 Segmentation Fault partclone.btrfs -z 10485760 -N -L /var/log/partclone.log -b -s /dev/sda6 -O /dev/sde6
I tried both the latest 20151012-wily clonezilla
and
the clonezilla-live-20150330-vivid-amd64
Both result in the same seg-fault.
Any suggestions how I might get this to work would be appreciated as this is the first time I've had problems with Clonezilla in several years.
