    Hi,

I am new to this DRBL setup for CloneZilla Server. Before, my setup was that I had a live cd server and I used clients (booting up off of live disc locally) to connect and image/save image.

    My question is:

I switched over to a Dell Workstation with Xeon Processor and 12GB of RAM with one NIC. This machine is running Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy S.) - 64 bit.

I have read the guides but I am not certain how I would setup the server to use the one NIC with an alias IP Eth0 and Eth0:1.

I do not necessarily need ETH0 to connect to my WAN/other LAN. I just want to plug the workstation into a gigabit switch while running the ClonzeZilla on Ubuntu 13.10 - 64 bit and image all clients connected to it (as the switch is dedicated to just imaging, and we wont always image, just when there's a demand). If someone could post a quick tut / walkthrough for IP alias's, please let me know, this is pretty urgent.

If I am missing something and need to change my setup to fit my needs, please let me know, but I am certain that I can’t put another nIC into the system (as per boss’s requests)

    Thanks,

    Mark

You can use DRBL live, with one NIC, it will create an alias IP address so that the layout of DRBL could be kept.
Therefore no problem for that, actually.
