I have fixed ECL so that it works better with defsystem. The problem was =
misinterpretation of the standard with regard to MAKE-PATHNAME: namely,
(MAKE-PATHNAME :type nil :defaults #P"foo.lisp") =3D> "foo.lisp")
However, when compiling defsystem.lisp I have found an error: FIND-SYMBOL=
used with a symbol as argument. This a nonstandard use, as FIND-SYMBOL ca=
only take a string (not even a string-designator). I have attached a patc=
for this minor error.
