I don't know anything about the error you got, but if you are interested in Lisp implementation benchmarks, you might want to check out http://www.prodata.lt/EN/Programming/lisp_bmarks.html and http://sbcl.boinkor.net/bench/ . The first may be somewhat out of date, but has benchmarks for Corman and CLISP.
