but what can they be useful for? No version older than 2.33.2 runs on
today's Linux/x86 systems. Actually it would be good if you could move
these versions from ftp.gnu.org/gnu/clisp/release/
(if you have write access to the old-gnu area; I don't know).

clisp became a GNU package only in August 2000. I don't know whether
we can distribute the older, non-GNU releases though ftp.gnu.org:/gnu/ or
ftp.gnu.org:/old-gnu/. You would have to ask RMS or Karl Berry.
