this is triggered by
CLISP_LINKKIT=. MAKE=make ./clisp-link add-module-sets boot base i18n syscalls
which works just fine when invoked from the command line explicitly (not from
both build-g-gxx and build-g-mt build fine, it is the combination of mt and g++
that weirdly fails.

I observe the same on i386 linux - it happens during image loading and
is modules related. Will check it these days.
