I noticed a compliance issue with GNU CLISP 2.49 for Windows.
(probe-file pathname) signalls an error instead of NIL when the pathname does not refer to an actual file.
An error can only be signalled if (wild-pathname-p pathname) is true which was not the case.
> (wild-pathname-p "c:/Program Files/")
> (file-exists-p "c:/Program Files/")
*** - PROBE-FILE: No file name given: #P"C:\\Program Files\\"
