I am running Windows 7 64bit. The help file that comes with the current release (*.hlp) is in a format that is no
longer supported by Windows. If I open CLIPSwin.exe, then click 'Help>CLIPS help…', I get a popup:
"Unable to activate help"
and a second popup with this information:
Why can't I get Help from this program?
The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows. However, you can download a program that will allow you to view Help created in the Windows Help format.

I have the same issue. Looks like the help file will have to be redone for Windows 7. Try typing (help) at the CLIPS command prompt. That should bring up the cross-platform help system.

After a Genuine Check you can download Windows6.1-KB917607-x64.msu or Windows6.1-KB917607-x86.msu and update your system.
