Am I missing something or is there no way to expand the Documents menu like
    the Favorites menu can be?

Oh, and by that I mean for all of the folders with Documents to be able to be
expanded. I have multiple folders in my Favorites and they all expand just
    fine but not under Documents.

There is no setting that can make Documents to NOT expand. It should always be
    expandable.
Can you add a screenshot? A screenshot is worth a thousand words.

Here is my Favorites (note the submenus):

    and here is the Documents:

note that the Documents folder inside does not have the submenus for the
    folder structure inside.

It's possible I did something via the registry while playing with other Start
Menu tools but the standard Windows 7 Start Menu (via Shift-Windows key) looks
    ok:

Also, would be awesome if the Downloads folder could be added to the Classic
    Shell Start Menu! :-)

Oh, I see. You are talking about the Documents inside Documents.

Yes, it can be made into a menu. Open the StartMenu.ini file (go to the
settings and click on the More Settings... link). Look for
ShowUserDocuments, and set it to 2.

Also look at the StartMenuItems.ini file. From there you can add and remove
items from the start menu. Carefully read the instructions at the top fist.

    Ah HA!

    Many thanks.

    I'm really loving Classic Shell!

I am having this exact same problem except on Windows 7 64-bit and the ini file does not have a ShowUserDocuments option. Can someone please help?

You need to change the "User documents" setting in the Special Items tab in the settings.

Thank you, I don't know why I didn't see that option before.
