For example, here's the result of "grep gcc Makefile" Makefile:CC = gcc Makefile:CCDEPMODE = depmode=gcc3 Makefile:CPP = gcc -E Makefile:CXXDEPMODE = depmode=gcc3 Makefile:ac_ct_CC = gcc I also did a recursive grep through the entire directory structure and none of the files revealed a direct call to gcc. I also did a search in the Makefile to see where CC and ac_ct_CC were being used. Neither of these were used to create the "gcc -shared" command that I previously mentioned. Other thoughts? If anyone is interested in reproducing this issue, the code that I'm playing with is the XenAccess Library (http://xenaccess.googlecode.com/files/xenaccess-0.4.tar.gz). Thanks, bryan |
