MyGallery

MyGallery is a module that is based on the popular XOOPS Gallery MyAlbum-p and used for displaying images in a categories gallery. Base on permissions, users can submit content to myalbum-p as well as vote on them as well, complete with .htaccess SEO and tag module MyGallery offers the best in gallery modules for XOOPS 2.6 & later.

Many bugs have been fixed in 3.04, please report any further bugs in this forum. The .htaccess has changed so please replace this in your main .htaccess in the XOOPS Root Path so you can have SEO Clean URLS.

Installation

Download the latest version from Chronolabs on sourceforge. Unzip the archive you should have a folder called 'htdocs' in the unzipped location. Copy the contents of 'htdocs' folder to your CMS root path this is generally a folder called 'public_html' or 'www' on your FTP service of your website. Log into your CMS and goto the modules/applications installation section, this is generally in your system control area under modules. Click on the icon that represent installing the module. If all has behaved as need be then your module is installed. If your module requires a user licenses, keys or a username then sign-up to the appropriate sites and retrieve your keys or IDs (Links should be provided in the preferences) and paste the values into preferences. Now your right to go!

Upgrading

Download the latest version from Chronolabs on Google code or off sourceforge. Unzip the archive you should have a folder called 'htdocs' in the unzipped location. Copy the contents of 'htdocs' folder to your CMS root path this is generally a folder called 'public_html' or 'www' on your FTP service of your website. Log into your CMS and go to the modules/applications installation section, this is generally in your system control area under modules. Click on the icon that represent upgrading the module. Your version number should no longer be in bold and would have changed!

Reporting a Bug

If you think you have found a bug in the module then please raise it, no matter how minor you think it is with the tickets section of the Sourceforge Chronolabs Project, you should find a milestone to post on the Bug Tracker here: https://sourceforge.net/p/chronolabs/tickets/

Remember to include the following:

  • PHP Version
  • Operating System
  • Any Steps to reproduce
  • Any Error Logs Resulting
  • Version of the Module
  • Version of the Portal Framework
