In Windows XP we have to use IE for viewing chm-files.
Links from chm to webpages also open in IE, ignoring
windows XP "standard browser settings".
Would it be much effort to compile your Firefox-Plugin
for Windows?

I feel the same way. I would love to see this for Windows!

You could change the file types handling in windows xp.
ie: For open ....(have to set this to default)
    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" "chm:file://%1"

it will open the chm in firefox and it will not open the chm in hh.exe anymore.

    Best regards,
    Richard
