No

When exporting a game to TeX, the header lines:

\newenvironment{variation}{\begin{quote}}{\end{quote}}
\newenvironment{diagram}{\begin{nochess}}{$$\showboard$$\end{nochess}}

are incorrectly output because the first to characters are not taken literally and interpreted as a newline '\n' the resulting tex lines look like:

ewenvironment{variation}{\begin{quote}}{\end{quote}}
ewenvironment{diagram}{\begin{nochess}}{$$\showboard$$\end{nochess}}

(using SVN-trunk 8/10/10 on linux)

## Discussion

• P.S. Congratulations on a very nice database.

• The lost \n comes from line 72 in output.cpp: line.replace("\\n", "\n");

I think its save to remove this line and change line 89 to m_header += line+"\n";
for nice formatting.

And you should remove every \n in the template file. I have done this and i got an tex-file which compiled. Ok there was then another Problem with the # in the output (the # should be replaced with \mate)..
