I'd like to see a regexp for matching source files in
the checkstyle properties. Say:
checkstyle.files=*.java

Default would be *.java

I've got two reasons for this. First, I have a project
that uses "*.j" for java sources (because we push them
through CPP, though only for a couple macro
expansions). Second, checkstyle was picking up
".~foo.java" in addition to "foo.java". I'd like to
change the regexp to not pick up my emacs backup files.

    I have added support for a "-e extension" option to the
    command line tool. This will allow you to specify "-e j" in
    your case.

    I elected to not support regular expressions due to the
    complexity. If you need regexp, I would suggest firstly
    using ANT. Secondly using "find" to create the list of files
    to tell Checkstyle what files to check.
