I request the ant property "checkstyle.cache.file" be
reinstated. This property allows one property file to
be used in different ways.

In my case, ant would run checkstyle on all java file
just to record violations. Then a second pass is
performed, using the same propery file, on selected
file. Violations during the second pass will halt the
build. To speed up the build 1 cache files are used,
one for each pass. In addition a "build clean" will
delete file cache file.

    For Checkstyle 3 we are currently working on a way to use
    ant properties in the checkstyle config file, something like

    checkstyle.cache.file="${current.pass.cache}"

    In the ant file you can then set the property
    current.pass.cache differently for each pass using the
    antcall task.
