So do these RPMs have a chance of working on a distribution > other than Mandrake? The source RPM may be compatible with RedHat 8.0, the binaries won't since RH 8.0 uses the newer glibc 2.3. They might be compatible with a RH 7.3 upgraded to KDE 3. I have access to RH systems at work, I'll see if they work tomorrow, otherwise I'll try and build new ones. As for Suse, that's up to Fridger once he gets the time. -- Christophe |
