I find it useful, but it maybe somewhat confusing to people, since it's usually coincident with the z-axis of the body frame. The menu for the body-to-body direction vector is only shown for objects that aren't directly orbiting a star. Otherwise, it's the same as the sun direction vector. Opinions on whether or not this is a good idea? The body-to-body direction arrow is a reference mark where some useful extra functionality could be made available through script. In the UI, the second body is always the frame center, but it would be useful to be able to set it to something else in a script. --Chris |
