I first installed cEdit Professional 5.6.7 that I
downloaded from cedit.sf.net. That worked OK.

Then, I got the idea to install version 5.6.8 from the
project area (hey, new version, right?), but when I
started it up, I got this non-fatal error:

"Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address
00000000."

I'm guessing that this is a dummy error--usually those
numbers are a little more random, no? I've been using
HTML-Kit (clearly a shareware rip-off of cEdit) and get
these errors all the time.

So, I uninstalled that package and reinstalled the old
one, but I'm still getting the error. In other words,
the 5.6.8 package seems to have messed up an otherwise
working cEdit 5.6.7 installation on my PC. :(

It seems to otherwise work fine.

My OS is WinXP Pro SP1.
