[CEDET-devel] how to find out type of variable or function?

If I have java code like this:

import a.b.c.A;
import a.b.c.B;

class x{
   A method(B arg){return new A;}
}

Is it then possible to find out that A:s complete type is a.b.c.A?
How do I get the type of something with the cedet api?

I have a snippet like this which doesnt help much:

      (let* ((ctxt (semantic-analyze-current-context point))
             (cursym (semantic-ctxt-current-symbol))
             (thing (semantic-ctxt-current-thing ))
...
