Hi David, attached is a slighly modified version of your autoload-autogen-mechanism for ECB. Please not the feature-providing in the last function. Maybe you find this also useful for the semantic version. I addition i have fixed an annoying "feature" of XEmacs autogeneration: If a package X is installed in a dir like "X-1.4.3" then XEmacs generates correct the file with name of generated-autoload-file but adds a provide statement like (provide 'X-1.4.3-autoloads) which is really not what i want. But if you set autoload-package-name to "X" then all is ok and you get (provide 'X-autoloads). AFAIK you can not change the suffix "-autoloads" of the provided feature in XEmacs, so i would suggest to change the name of the file from "semantic-al.el" to "semantic-autoloads.el" to be consistent. I have added feature-providing also to GNU Emacs, so a user can simply write (require 'X-autoloads) in all flavors of Emacs to load the package X. See attachted file....I'm sure you can transform it back to semantic-autogen.el ;-) Ciao, Klaus |
