Use pop-global-mark, bound to C-x C-@, which is also C-x C-SPC. All movement commands use push-mark, so you can use pop-global-mark to go back where you came from (in a different buffer) or exchange-point-and-mark within the same buffer. XEmacs can use pop tag mark (or something like that) since there is a convenience for pushing the tag mark that semantic can use. Eric |
