I don't know about CEDET support, but have you seen this? http://cx4a.org/software/rsense/ Also, note that code folding is built into emacs and you don't need a third party package: http://www.gnu.org/s/libtool/manual/emacs/Hideshow.html The default keybindings are a little cumbersome, so I bind hs-toggle-hiding to C-c h.
