It looks to me like some file is incomplete. It will not necessarily be srecode-map.el, but perhaps some file it requires. I'm guessing you can delete your ~/.srecode directory to fix the issue based on the very last error your provided where it is likely trying to load in your map file. If you validate this is the case, let me know and I can make the code robust to that problem.
