I'm experiencing several error messages with the ectags parser, the most common messages are:
Unknown ectags field inherits [2 times]
Unknown ectags field function
I found an old email pointing out this same error, I can a cedet bzr copy (with the mentioned fix on the email).
Do you have any ideas what could be wrong?
This is my cedet configuration
(semantic-load-enable-code-helpers) ; Enable prototype help and smart completion
(global-srecode-minor-mode 1) ; Enable template insertion menu

fortunately, those messages are just informational, so you could ignore
them. The exuberant ctags program has a lot of options, and CEDET uses
a subset. It could be that you have some options file that ctags is
loading? Perhaps you have a newer ctags?
In any case, to best silence these keywords is to do a little
programming in semantic/ectags/parse.el in the function
semantic-ectags-split-fields. You will see an obvious conditional
statement. You could add a couple conditions to silence those lines, or
add them and also figure out what data they are trying to provide and
how to get Semantic to use that info.
