You can safely ignore those warnings mainly due to compatibility
code between GNU Emacs and XEmacs.

The compile log looks good.

That's weird. I just did a full install of the cedet-1.0beta2a
GNU Emacs 21.3.1 (i386-redhat-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
of 2003-10-27 on daffy.perf.redhat.com
from the Fedora Core 1 distribution, then started Emacs and opened
several files (Elisp, Java, Wisent grammar) without any problems.
Could you please (setq debug-on-error t) and try to get a backtrace?
