#40 burn lightscribe labels

Jim Michaels

for drives that support it, I would like the following features
- user should be able to specify media size such as business card media, mini cd or regular size cd/dvd or blu-ray if that technology ever comes out.
- text label burn: large title with lots of smaller title text throughout label, not sure I really care how it's laid out, but if I can have layout, that would be great. if I am limited to single-size text that would be fine.
- SVG label burn
- PNG label burn (should resize automatically to fit media)
- jpeg label burn
- tiff label burn
- maybe gif label burn

note that my best understanding is that this is black and white, don't know if it does grayscale or not. I suppose I could try to find a specification on lightscribe label burning for you.

is a project for making lightscribe labels. I am finding our more about it. when I find one that actually burns the labels, or if I find out this one actually does, I will return.
also, I have the commandline EXE file for writing liteon's labeltag, but it's probably proprietary license.
the above open source project should give you the ability to burn labels.
I contacted the owner of that project.
