Will cdrdao ever support ATAPI devices? I'm running Mac OS X
(Darwin) and CDRDAO 1.5. I have a sony CD-RW/DVD drive
(CRX800E) and would really like to use cdrdao... Is there any
chance my drive will be supported (Or it already is and I'm missing
something?)

In Linux cdrdao can be used with ATAPI devices setting them up
using the "ide_scsi" driver... but don't know if in MacOS/X is there
    anything like that.

BTW, direct support of ATAPI devices -at least for reading!- would be
a great thing also in Linux.
