I've just committed a big CVS update:
- Everything should compile with gcc-3.x now. Gcc-2.95.x still works, too.
I did not check other gcc versions. For gcc-3.0 you will need to create
a new 'configure' script with the latest autoconf-2.52. Btw, I removed
'configure' from the repository.
- The scsilib is updated. So remove the "scsilib" directory and untar
- This snapshot contains the first sub-channel reading/writing support.
Everything is pretty untested so beware when trying to record CDs with
this version. Up to now, only the 'generic-mmc' and 'generic-mmc-raw'
drivers have sub-channel support. For those who want to try it here are
Read an image with raw R-W sub-channel data:
cdrdao read-cd --read-raw --read-subchan rw_raw ... cd.toc
The created toc-file can be written as usual with
cdrdao write ... cd.toc
- This version also tries to automatically determine the sub-channels
modes that are supported by the drive for reading. Up to now this had
to be defined by using driver option flags like 'generic-mmc:0x1'.
I'm very interested to hear how good this works.
