I'm using cdrdao to repair my scratched or corrupted CD
with this line, you know, when a file on a cd cannot be
copied to an HD with this line :

cdrdao read-cd --read-raw --datafile test.bin --device
ATAPI:1,1,0 --driver generic-mmc:0x00000001 test.toc

What's important here is the 0x code which tells cdrdao
to continue creating the bin file even if there's crc
error.

Then I use bin2iso and bchunk to create an iso image
file that I loop mount on my system and copy the file
from there to my HD which works almost everytime.
cdrdao is a great tool.

What I would like tho, is to recover only one file on
the CD, not the whole disc. Just like "Bad CD Repair"
or "Bad copy pro" does on Windows.

Thanks

Hi, after some research I found that if you use dd in this
    manner : dd if=file of=output conv=noerror it will copy a
file and continue if there's error, quite usefull and it can
be use for only a file. Guess you can close the bug now ;)
