Hi CDK developers,
the CVS bulged with changes, which finally resulted in a new CDK release, now
that ring structure layout is working again. At this moment, I have not build
nice Unix packages, but will do that shortly... And for once I've taged CVS
with cdk-2003-Feb-13, denoting the state of CVS when the release was done.
Should have done that more often... I might make a release statement to
cdk-user after the UNIX packages are made.
Anyway, I've also updated the website with new Changelog, keyword index
JavaDoc and NCSS statistics and API.
The next release will again be in about one month from now, I hope... That
release will hopefully have a stable cdk-core module. And maybe even some
more stable modules. This would be a historical moment! Keep in mind that
the stableness of a module is defined as:
1. all JavaDoc must be avaiable, show no errors, and *must* include at least
on example on how to use/construct an instance of that class.
2. all classes in the module must have associated JUnit tests, where each
class is tested that it can be constructed, and where each method of the
class is tested that it works.
These requirements are not yet posted in a RFC, but set by the de facto
release manager, being me ;)
But, as said, the release of the first stable release of a CDK module IS a
