just wanted to make sure we do not have a Renderer3D that does not
require Java3D, right? If this is correct, i am going to try to port
the Jmol viewer code to CDK, so that i can view 3D molecules on my
non-Java3D machine too...

As far as I know, you are right - we do _not_ have such a viewer.
If you take care of those things like MCV-Separation of code, that'll be
quite an effort. Maybe some of the JMol people are willing to help :-)
