Is there a maven repository with recent CDK jars?  I am aware of this
one http://pele.farmbio.uu.se/maven2/   , but it seems to be last
updated  Nov 2008.

There are two more recent listed at:

Good to hear , but still from the links there I couldn't find a repository that is ready to be used in a maven project.
1) All the links I have clicked at https://maven.ch.cam.ac.uk/m2repo , including  https://maven.ch.cam.ac.uk/cdk/ do not work and return an error  "The server has not found anything matching the request URI".

2)MOJO http://code.google.com/p/cdk-maven-mojos/  to deploy CDK to local repository is helpful, but  involves compilation of the sources and installing in a local repository

3) Binbase  http://code.google.com/p/binbase-maven/  seems has lot more than just CDK maven repository

Finally, the simplest way was to set up my own, it uses cdk-1.3.4.jar file downloaded from sourceforge , via simple pom.xml file , available here https://ambit.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/ambit/trunk/cdk-maven .

and from the https://ambit.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/ambit/trunk/cdk-maven/README.txt :
This is a hack to upload cdk-*.jar (The Chemistry Development Kit) into a Maven repository.
Download  cdk-1.3.4.jar and copy into dist folder, then run mvn deploy

This makes the cdk-1.3.4.jar accessible from  http://ambit.sourceforge.net/jars/org/openscience/cdk/cdk/1.3.4/

To use in maven projects, one need to configure dependencies and repositories in pom.xml

...
<dependencies>
    <dependency>
        <groupId>org.openscience.cdk</groupId>
        <artifactId>cdk</artifactId>
        <version>1.3.4</version>
    </dependency>
...
</dependencies>
...

and repositories

...
<repositories>
      <repository>
        <id>website_ambit</id>
          <url>http://ambit.sourceforge.net/jars</url>
      </repository>
</repositories>

(The repository should be the same as the repository where the CDK jar is deployed)

Will be good to have something similar on CDK site, would this be possible ?

Best regards,
Nina
