Hi I have a blank page problem after initial ccHost install on a dedicated server with LAMP and CentOS, The server is running Apache/2.0.52, PHP version 4.3.9 and MySQL 4.1.20. First off i installed ccHost on a VPS and tested it with Lighttpd, which worked fine, but switched it over to Apache because I couldn't manage the rewrite for pretty urls. Finally I was content enough to bring a ccHost install up on the iBeat.orgdedicated server (we are planning a migration) ... but after the installation script I only get blank pages, when calling .php files. I was hoping someone might have encountered problems like this on a secured and hardened server - and perhaps could help me with getting ccHost running ... anyone can find examples of the blanks on http://audio.ibeat.org Kind regards and thanks in advance Peter Jones |

Otherwise, the bug with openclipart.org, after fixing the killer bots was that the packages of clipart was destroying apache...each process was running up the memory on the box. The solution is now in place to move openclipart.org/downloads to a pure ftp box with mirroring. Also, all /people and /contests are mirrored onto other boxes so that downloads don't sync the server. Oh, VS, you might also be interested to know that openclipart.org and openfontlibrary.org are running on a mysql cluster at osuosl.org All this has massively sped up the sites...
