Hello. I'm using emacs 23.4.1 with cc-mode 5.31.8. It seems that the c-doc-comment-style variable doesn't work as desired when used as a file- or directory-local variable: somehow the font lock keywords get computed before the file-local modifications take effect. Calling c-setup-doc-comment-style doesn't help, either: I tracked the problem back to the fact that font-lock-set-defaults remains set to t even after font-lock-mode is disabled. Manually setting it to nil before restarting font-lock-mode fixed this. Still, one shouldn't need to call any functions for file-local variables to work properly. Please fix this. Thanks, Lauri |
