Before installing caravel I had installed an Apache server with some aplications. On finishing the caravel's installation I can not connect to them. Appears a caravel's message that this page does not exists. I created a link to them in "/usr/local/caravel/public_web" as it was created before in the htdocs directory but does not work. Does anybody know how can I enable this access??.
The Caravel installation adds an include line at the bottom of your apache config file (usually called apache.conf or httpd.conf). You can restore your old apache configuration by removing that line and restarting apache.
By default Caravel takes over an entire server. If you want to limit it to a particular domain or subdomain, you will have to edit /usr/local/caravel/conf/caravel_apache.conf by hand to set up your virtual host. (This is the file that is included from httpd.conf.)
