The plist (preferences) file on OS X is named com.Brown CS17.Camelia.plist, but should have name edu.Brown CS17.Camelia.plist (imo).

This is a QT issue. The QSettings class picks an OS-specific
location to store data about an application. On OS X, it
uses the CFPreferences API, creating a plist file with the
    form: com.<configurable product name>.plist.

There's no way for me to change this without writing my own
OS-specfic preference system, which seems silly.

I agree, it should be an edu, but that won't be changing any
    time soon.
